Introduction]

We are looking for a lead developer on the site referenced in the attached Google Analytics Report after you have completed to satisfaction several planned assignments and feel comfortable with that role.

The site had over 118,000 visitors last month and almost 500,000 page views.

1. Open the PDF and review the numbers. The site has been active for over 15 years and generates over 62 percent of its traffic from search engines.

2. Now log onto its WordPress control panel.

U: ajlxxx P: cfmxxx xxx.com/wp-admin/

You will note that the site contains over 4,000 active WordPress posts.

You will see, however, the vast majority of site content that exists outside and unlinked outside of the WordPress structure.

3. In order to get an idea of that content, I suggest you take two actions:

a. Log into FTP: U:xxxxx P:02 xxx.com

b. Perform some Google searches of the site by date range and other criteria.

4. Extract from the WordPress interface all PHP code for your use in development.

THE ASSIGNMENT, iteration 1

The ultimate objective is to have all existing site content accessible to readers, editors, and administrators in one sleek and exciting front end and back end environment.

The short term objective is to immediately increase the quality of reader experience, triple existing pageviews, and create an environment where advertisers can thrive.

Use the first 6 hours to impress us. Clean up code and suggest and make changes that will demonstrate your abilities.

Feel free to reach out via phone at any time. 917.374.4477.
